About Me
The Artistry of Godzfella is the universe of creativity for Artist Charles R. Hawthorne (Godzfella).
The name Godzfella is referred to as God’s Fellow.
Fellow: (Noun) – A person in the same position, involved in the same activity, or otherwise associated with another.
(Adjective) – Sharing a particular activity, quality, or condition with someone or something.
Landed on earth in year 1986 in Lansing, Michigan.
Raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Aside from having skills as an artist, author, and barber, I’m a son, brother, uncle, husband, father and grandfather. I’m not a perfect man but I’m doing the best that I can and I’m still evolving.
On this planet we call earth, life can be so cold. Sometimes, the reality that humans have created here can cause severe depression and internal illness that can eventually lead to death. During my forty years living on this planet, the experience has been an interesting one. Throughout all the mistakes, obstacles, trauma, trials and tribulations, I have come to the conclusion that I possess the power of my reality. I realize that with God’s assistance, I do have the power to change things that are beyond my control. I can control my thoughts, my energy and my mission in this short-lived existence. Life has forced me to share my perception with the world. Everyone has their own perception, so I won't expect you to sit and listen to mines. I’d rather share it with you through my art and creativity. I also believe God will use me to mirror the world to itself. If you support it, I am grateful. If you don’t support it, I’m still grateful. My art is meant to be shared with the world or it could just be my alienated imagination. Either way, I hope that it can help someone out there in some type of way. Even though this earth is a body of art, the world built on top of it has become a strange uninhabitable place for the physical body. Seek yourself and you will begin to hear God's voice. Then, you can truly charge your soul! God gave me my artistry. My art charges my soul! I'm forty years old and just now understanding the true power of art and my purpose so I'm not trippin'.
